Ram is a seasoned global business leader with a track record of building high-performing organizations. With over 30 years of leadership experience in industry, he brings deep expertise in strategy development, business growth & transformation and people development across the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Graduating from India’s premier institutions, IIT Kanpur ( BTech) and IIM Calcutta (MBA), Ram has held several senior management positions in local and multi-national companies including global VP and country head roles in Dubai and Indonesia. Recently, Ram served as President Director of PT Jotun Indonesia, where he implemented a high growth strategy, doubling the sales to USD 250m and tripling profits over a period of 4 years. His earlier roles span General Management, Sales, Finance and Investments, laying a strong foundation for his strategic and commercial acumen.
Subsequent to his career in the corporate world, Ram has successfully executed consulting assignments for business transformation for clients in the Middle East (Morocco) and in Indonesia.
Ram has lived and worked in many countries with a deep understanding of markets, culture and business practices in these regions.
